Commissions and Committees (Advisory Boards)
Applications Open for Cerritos Senior Services Commission Members
2025 – 2027 Term
Cerritos residents are invited to submit their application for consideration to serve on the Cerritos Senior Services Commission (Commission). Members are appointed by the Cerritos City Council and serve as an advisory body to the Council researching and recommending policies, programs, and services related to senior, accessibility, and disability needs.
Eligible, appointed* individuals will serve a term through April 30, 2027.
To be considered for appointment to this Commission, an application must be submitted online or in person to the Office of the City Clerk. Though the application for service lists all Commissions and Committees (Advisory Boards), at this time vacant positions only exist on the Senior Services Commission. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. Learn more about each Advisory Board function, eligibility requirements, and complete the application.
*Members appointed to the Senior Services Commission will be required to participate in the 2026 L.E.A.D. Cerritos program. Visit cerritos.gov/lead for more information about this program and program schedule.
For more information, contact the Office of the City Clerk at (562) 916-1248.
