Agendas, Minutes, and Videos
City Council, Commission, and Committee business meetings are always open to the public. In advance of each scheduled meeting, the City posts a complete agenda packet (agenda) with information on the business items to be considered and instructions for public participation and viewing.
The official record (minutes) of each meeting conducted is also posted, upon approval by the legislative or advisory body. Official meeting cancellation notices are also posted on this page.
Subscription options to receive meeting agenda notifications are available on the News Signup page. After each broadcasted meeting, the City will also post a video of the proceeding.

Public Observation and Participation
Members of the public may provide public comment for Cerritos public meetings in person at the meeting or in writing as described on the respective meeting agenda.

Public Meeting Conduct
The City of Cerritos conducts public meetings in accordance with State law and City policy. The City of Cerritos Technology Service and Meeting Disruption Policy was adopted on April 13, 2026.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodations
The City of Cerritos is committed to providing disability-related services and reasonable accommodations to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in City meetings, programs, and services, consistent with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Disability-related services are available to enable persons with a disability to participate in City Council, Commission, and Committee meetings.
In compliance with the ADA, any person with a disability who requires accommodation in order to participate in a meeting should contact City of Cerritos ADA/504 Coordinator, Drew Schneider, at (562) 916-1314 at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting. The City will use its best efforts to provide reasonable accommodations related to public meetings.

2026 City Council/Successor Agency Meeting Schedule*
City Council Regular Meetings are held at 7 p.m., the second and fourth Monday of each month (no second meeting in November and December) at the City Council Chamber at 18125 S. Bloomfield Avenue.
