City Partners with Local Agencies to Support Holiday Donations

Details

Community members are invited to give back this holiday season by participating in toy donation campaigns. The City of Cerritos is partnering with the Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree and United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots programs.

The Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree program gives community members the opportunity to shop for gifts for infants through 12-year-olds. Donors can obtain one or more tags at the Cerritos Senior Center through Friday, November 20. Each tag will list the child’s age, gender, clothing size, and toy request. Submit your donation, along with the original tag, to the Cerritos Senior Center on or before Friday, December 4.

New, unwrapped toys can also be donated to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program to underprivileged children. Toys for Tots boxes are on display through Friday, December 4, at Cerritos City Hall, Cerritos Library, Cerritos Senior Center at Pat Nixon Park, Liberty Park, and Cerritos Park East.
