City of Cerritos to Observe 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, Attacks

The City of Cerritos will hold an informal event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States. 

The Cerritos City Council will present a wreath and hold a moment of silence at the Tribute to Public Safety, located in front of the Cerritos Sheriff's Station/Community Safety Center. The public is invited to attend the informal event, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 11.

The plaza includes statues and memorials to honor first responders and those who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001, attacks in New York City; Arlington, Virginia; and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
