City Council to Hold Quarterly Celebrating Cerritos Event on August 24

The Cerritos City Council will conduct its next quarterly Celebrating Cerritos event, as part of a special meeting on Monday, August 24, beginning at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber. 

The standalone event offers a dedicated spotlight independent of traditional City Council proceedings to recognize those who are making a difference in the community. 

Honorees will include this year's Distinguished Young Women of Cerritos-Artesia, a Junior Olympics All-American, outgoing Friends of the Cerritos Library Board members, outgoing Cerritos Advisory Board members, and the City's Business Spotlight recipients for July and August.
