The Friends of the Cerritos Library invites children to participate in the 23rd Annual Art & Short Story Contests. This year's theme is "My Favorite Family Memory."
The Art Contest is for children in grades K-6. Participants are invited to design a picture with paints, crayons, or any other medium. The Short Story Contest is for grades 3-6. Stories must be original, no more than 500 words, and preferably typed on white, letter-sized paper.
The deadline to turn in entries at the Children’s Help Desk is Friday, October 9, before 7 p.m.
