Celebrate Cerritos' rich cultural diversity at the City's annual Festival of Friendship at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, located at 18000 Park Plaza Drive.
The 27th annual Festival of Friendship will feature a variety of cultural entertainment in the CCPA's main theater. Local groups will perform traditional songs and dances, offering spectators with an educational and moving experience. The City is delighted to present the performances in the CCPA’s world-class theater. The event is free to attend, and seating will be general admission.
The City extends special thanks to the Port of Long Beach for its sponsorship of this year’s Festival of Friendship and support of local cultural groups. Performers will include the JC Culture Foundation, Filipino Seniors of Cerritos Association, Global Culture Education Foundation, Shakti Dance Company, Adaptive Recreation – Dance & Movement, Formosa Seniors Association, Inc., Hanabi Taiko, Da’Hawaii Seniors Club, Ray Shine Foundation, The Original Happy Seniors of Cerritos, Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society – Orange County, Cerritos Ivy Club, Angklung Group of Cerritos, Cerritos Chinese-American Senior Citizens Association, Na Ipo Hula, Chinese Culture Association of Southern California, and Paso De Oro Dance Company.
Special commemorative gifts will be available at the Festival of Friendship while supplies last.
